This is great. I was working with an engineer once who couldn’t get anyone to speak up in his design reviews. He wanted people to be critical, but they were being polite. We worked on him going in to the review planning to say at least two things that were obviously wrong, just to generate discussion. Your “give bad ideas to unblock people” reminded me of this.
